New York Switch Plate with Blank Cover in Unlacquered Brass

These brass plates are a beautiful, relatively cost effective way to elevate any space. They are heavy and great quality. We are going to slowly upgrade all the switch plates in our home as We design and update each room - starting with the master bedroom. I’m looking forward to the unlacquered brass developing a beautiful patina - a visual depiction of the story of our family interacting with the home over time. We recently purchased a turn of the century farmhouse and are slowly taking it back to a more period appropriate look. Because it’s a small home, We can really focus on the details of the home which is exciting! These plates don’t announce their presence, they don’t take over the design, but they do say that the owners of this home care about it dearly - even to the tiniest of details. That’s love.
